THE annual Bollington Nostalgia Hill Race attracted more than 100 runners and raised valuable cash for The Bridgend Centre.
It was the 15th year that the event has taken place and the start was attended by local MP David Rutley and the mayor of Bollington, Roland Edwards.
The 6.77 mile run followed a course around the town, covering a number of different terrains, including road, pasture, high moorland, and canal towpaths.
The highest point of the course was Bakestonedale Moor, commanding spectacular views of the local area, and runners made 1,140 feet of ascent in total.
The centre also held an open day during on race day, enabling people to learn more about its work.
