A SITE manager in Cheshire has won a prestigious award for the highest standards in house building for the second year in a row.

Oliver Cookson, who works for Bovis Homes, is celebrating recognition for his excellence in on-site management once again at Loachbrook Meadow, on the outskirts of Congleton.

He picked up the gong in the North West region of the National House Building Council’s (NHBC) Pride in the Job Awards 2018.

He was one of those selected for a quality award from more than 16,000 site managers from across the country.

Oliver also won a quality award last year en route to being named the best site manager in the whole North West region in the large house builder category.

Oliver, pictured, said: “It is great recognition for all the team here and everyone on the site is so excited. It’s due to the organisation of the trades and the fact that everyone really cares about what we do. It’s a massive team effort.

Oliver will now go on to compete for one of the ‘Seal of Excellence’ and regional winner titles. They will be announced in October.

“We have had great feedback from home buyers here at Loachbrook Meadow and I'd like to congratulate Oliver, once again, and everyone else involved.”
