Order of St John awards for three Cheshire volunteers

Three of Cheshire's St John Ambulance volunteers were presented with their Order of St John insignia at their investiture at St John's Gate, London, on Thursday 21st April.

Kate Walsh (left), from Chester, works for the North West Ambulance Service, is a St John volunteer at the Winsford unit where she is also a St John trainer. She has been very active in promoting mental health among the emergency services through the Blue Light movement. Kate was admitted as a Member of the Order (MStJ).

Debbie Lewis (centre), from Neston, works in human resources, has served in a range of very responsible roles in both St John Ambulance Cheshire and the North West. She has been a leading light in the vaccination training programme during the pandemic. Debbie, already an Officer of the Order, was promoted to Commander of the Order (CStJ).

Laura Prentice (right), from Northwich, works for Tesco and until recently was the unit leader at the Winsford St John unit. She has just taken on a more responsible role covering Cheshire and during the pandemic was very active in the vaccination programme in Chester. Laura was admitted as a Member to the Order (MStJ).
