Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge is to host its first author event, since Covid-19 pandemic lockdown measures were eased, on the evening of Friday 18th September 2020.

Local author Kiley Dunbar will talk about her latest novel ‘One Winter's Night'.

Book description for ‘One Winter's Night': It's autumn in Stratford-upon-Avon and twenty-something Kelsey Anderson has moved from her Scottish home to live permanently in the beautiful town. Her Shakespeare tour guide days behind her, she's now happily working as a photographer and totally loved up with American actor boyfriend Jonathan - even if a long-distance relationship is hard to make work.

When best friend Mirren moves down from Scotland, Kelsey is delighted to have her friend at her side - and as the nights turn colder, Mirren throws herself into dating the eligible bachelors of Stratford, until she finds herself growing closer to journalist Adrian. But as Mirren uncovers a long-buried scandal whilst working at the local newspaper, it seems that her big scoop might throw Kelsey's - and Jonathan's - life upside down. Will she choose her career over her friends' happiness?

But when Jonathan returns from the US and discovers the secrets Mirren has uncovered about his family, it throws his relationship with Kelsey onto shaky ground. Can they find their way back to love, before it becomes the winter of discontent?

The event takes place on Friday 18th September 2020 at Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge, 46 High Street in Nantwich. Doors open 6:45pm, talk starts at 7pm. Ticket only with attendees restricted to 20 to comply with social distancing. Tickets are £15pp which includes a copy of ‘One Winter's Night', a plate of tapas and a refreshing drink.

Kiley Dunbar said: "It's fantastic to be launching One Winter's Night at Nantwich Bookshop. They are at the heart of our community and have been a huge supporter of me and my family since we moved to Nantwich eleven years ago. Steve even got on his bike and delivered books to our house over lockdown! Me and my publisher, Hera Books, are really looking forward to the launch evening. There will be a special book cake baked by local cake artist Joanne Selley and every ticket holder will receive a signed copy of One Winter's Night, which is my fourth novel, and the sequel to my bestselling debut novel One Summer's Night. I will be sharing photos and film of the night on my Twitter page @KileyDunbar."

Denise Lawson, Nantwich Bookshop & Coffee Lounge, said: "We are delighted to be starting back with our book events. Kilby is a local author who buys all her books from us and we are thrilled to host her book launch."
