Teams to be of 2 to 6 in number of persons. Cost £10 per team and £10 per person for the food.
It was at an old Round Tablers funeral (Steve Rhydwen-Jones a retired Northwich teacher) that a gathering of old Round Tablers discussed the fun of the activities we did 25+ years ago one of which was the Stock Exchange Evening. A light-hearted enjoyable get together with an element of competition with a prize.
Well I have been able to resurrect the script writers from those days who have written the trading actions of various "companies", there will be a notional amount of £1,000 shown for each team to start with. There will be six trading periods. Our MC Nick Marsh will be the host for the event and announce the "news" about each company before you then make your "purchases/sales" as a team. At each trading period your "team runner" will go to the Teller to record your actions. The Team with the highest value at the end of the final trade will receive a prize. Any disrespectful in any way.
This time we are organising tickets for the event so we will need the names of each person and the name of the Team. Advance booking for this with payment will make the event flow smoothly.
