LOCAL WOMAN WINS REGIONAL CARE ACCOLADE

Kelly Anne Livingstone, Care Assistant at Adlington Manor Care Home in #Poynton has been crowned winner of the Care Home Worker Award for the North West of the Great British Care Awards 2018, and has made it through to the national finals.

24 November 2018 saw over 400 of the very best in social care attend a glittering awards ceremony at Mecure Hotel Manchester, for the regional finals of the North West Regional Awards.

The North West Regional Awards are part of the Great British Care Awards, a series of 9 regional awards celebrating excellence across the care sector. The purpose of the awards is to promote best practice within both the home care and care home sectors, and pay tribute to those individuals who have demonstrated outstanding excellence within their field of work.

Care Assistant Kelly Anne Livingstone received the Care Home Worker for her hard work and dedication to the people of Adlington Manor. When presenting the award, the judges said “Kelly Anne is a devoted Care Home Worker staff member who has contributed to the success of the home. She takes a lot of pride in knowing her residents well, and keeping up the staff morale so challenging days feel easier. Well done Kelly Anne on this well-deserved award!”

Divisional Director Alison Farran added: “The Division and Region are immensely proud of Kelly Anne achievement in being awarded the Care Home Worker. We wish her the very best at the Nationals in 2019."
