The business advises both occupiers and owners of commercial property on a range of issues including Business Rates, Landlord & Tenant and Agency, as well as developing a significant property data capability to drive insight and identify opportunities.

Despite being a new business the four directors worked together for up to 20 years at Altus Group and consists of ex Altus COO Richard Roberts, Vice President Paul Roberts, Senior Director and Head of NW Agency Joseph Wilshaw and Associate Director software developer Martin Vain. They are joined by Jane Marshall who was previously at North West property specialist Eileen Bilton Partnership before they were acquired by Altus in 2013. Both Paul and Richard have specialised in Business Rates for their entire careers, with Richard more focussed on empty rates issues and Paul dealing with occupied rates. Richard, Paul, Joe and Jane are well known players in the North West commercial property industry and their expertise combined with Martin’s data experience gives them a unique position in the market.

Managing Director Richard Roberts said “This team have worked together in a highly successful and collaborative way for many years delivering client focussed advice on a range of complex commercial property issues. There was clearly demand in the marketplace for a professional business with our skills and expertise and we’re thoroughly enjoying the opportunities that being independent brings. We’re highly innovative and have spent the last 9 months developing a very impressive data capability with considerable input from IBM’s Hartree Centre at Daresbury Science Park. This provides us with the capability to identify a wide range of opportunities from business rates savings to investment opportunities that can be profiled to clients requirements”.

Joe Wilshaw who heads the agency team said “Despite being a small team we have considerable expertise and our innovative approach, combined with exceptional data capability gives our clients a tangible competitive advantage”.
